William Henry "Billy" Robinson

Mr. William Henry Robinson, age 70, passed away October 26, 2024 in Colville, WA.  William was born March 30, 1954 in White Salmon, WA.

At the young age of 18, Billy became a Shingle Sawyer.  He would work in this field until he retired.  He was one of the blessed men in this line work to have never lost a finger or sustain a more significant injury while working.

Always a bit of a loner, Billy did things his own way.  He was an artist at heart.  Billy used his artistic abilities with welding art.  Additionally, he used those skills to design and build his own three-wheeled motorcycle – a Trike.  The license plate said "Homemade."  He loved riding on the open road.  His beloved dogs Kishka and Boo Boo were his constant companions on and off the road over the years.

Billy was always willing to offer a helping hand.  He made a point of taking care of those who were in need – especially his friend Vanessa.

He was known for enjoying a drink or two.  Some might say he was a solitary drinker.  Others might go so far to say that he was an alcoholic.  Billy would say, "I'm not an alcoholic!  I'm a pot smoking drunk!"   Billy loved life and all it had to offer!
