William "Bill"
Mcnemar

Colville
In Loving Memory
William "Bill" Bryan McNemar
William "Bill" Bryan McNemar, a 1-year area resident, passed away unexpectedly on May 14, 2022 at his home in Colville, WA. He was born in Norwalk, CA on August 27, 1964 to Olia and Lorainne (Reinhardt) McNemar.
Bill spent the first 4 months of his life in Norwalk, CA before his family moved to Norco, CA where he was raised. Bill attended Norco High School, graduating with the class of 1982. It was during his high school years when he met Deborah Shaw, the sister of a friend from school. Their friendship blossomed and Bill told her that they were going to get married after she graduated from high school. He was true to his word, and on July 19, 1985 the two wed in a small service in Paris, CA. Bill and Deb started a family with the birth of their daughter, Brianna and shortly thereafter he enlisted into the United States Air Force. Bill was stationed at Mather AFB when they welcomed their second daughter, Renee. His next duty station was in Turkey since he was able to bring his entire family with him on base. They spent two years there before his next and final duty station at Grand Forks AFB in North Dakota. After Bill was honorably discharged, their young family moved to North Carolina near Deborah's brother for two years before returning to North Dakota. Bill worked for a grocery warehouse until an injury forced him into a less physical career path, and that is when he decided to start driving long haul semi.
Bill enjoyed driving over-the-road and in the summer time, would often times bring the entire family with him. Their family created many memories during those years getting to see fireworks over the Statue of Liberty on the 4 th of July and travelling to most of the lower 48 states. The family weathered many storms over the years, quite literally, as they managed to survive the 100-year flood in North Dakota when the Red River flooded at historic levels to riding out a massive hurricane in North Carolina. When their oldest daughter, Brianna was diagnosed with some serious health issues, they decided to move the warmer climate in Eastern Washington in 2021. Bill began driving truck for Sunshine Disposal and in the winter of 2021, he caught a soft shoulder which sent him down a steep embankment leaving him with serious injuries and being paralyzed from the waist down. With hard work, determination, and a few surgeries, Bill was able to regain some of the use of his arms and fingers and was beginning to have movement in his legs. Bill was able to return home to his family and just the day before he passed, was able to "chase" the grandkids around the house. Bill had a huge heart and would offer the shirt off of his back. He was willing to show you how to fix a problem, not just fix it for them. Bill was rarely subtle and not always tactful but he was a kind and sincere person. He has passed far too soon and will be dearly missed by all those that had the pleasure of knowing him.
Bill is survived by his loving wife, Deborah; his daughters, Brianna McNemar and Renee McNemar; grandchildren, Lucian, Arianna, and Inara.
