Willard Edwin Lundquist

Willard Edwin Lundquist passed away peacefully on September 15, 2021 with his wife by his side. Willard was born April 14, 1943 in Portland,  Oregon to Edwin Willard and Mava Edna (Seabrandt) Lundquist. Willard attended the Addy grade school and graduated from Jenkins high school in Chewelah in 1961.

Willard married Carol DeHart on July 21, 1962. They had 59 memorable years together. Willard worked at Avey Brother's sawmill in Kettle Falls for 6 years. Then Willard went to work for Stevens County on the survey crew and eventually went to work in the office doing road design on the computer until he retired. Willard enjoyed fishing and hunting. He enjoyed bottom fishing off the Oregon coast and fishing at the local area lakes and camping with family and friends. Willard enjoyed elk hunting in the Blue mountains for several years. Willard thoroughly enjoyed deer hunting camp in the local area. He enjoyed spending time with his family. He was a good dad and grandpa.

Willard was preceded in death by his parents, infant daughter Tanya, grandson Chad Olson. He is survived by his wife Carol, son Cletis (Jen) Lundquist, daughter Mava (Mike) Olson; Grandsons Justin Lundquist, Mike (Yvonne) Lundquist, Nick Olson (Michelle), Josh Olson; Granddaughter Crystal Naff (John); Eleven great grandchildren; Step grandsons Ryan (Jen) Power, Todd (McKenzie) Power, four step great grandchildren; His brothers John Lundquist and Merle Lundquist; Brother in law Dan DeHart; sister in law Joyce Thompson; his aunt, Verna Rosenberg and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

A memorial will be held at a later date. Danekas Funeral Chapel is entrusted in care.
