Wanda Edna Miller

Wanda Edna Miller beloved mother and grandmother born December 3, 1937 to Ernest and Alice Arnott passed away October 4, 2022 in Thornton, Colorado.

Wanda was born in Wisconsin and lived there until she was five. Then her mom, dad and 11 siblings moved to Washington where she later graduated from Tenino High school in Tenino, Washington. After high school Wanda would soon meet the love of her life Ernest Miller. She and Ernest raised 3 kids in Yelm, Washington. In 1975 the family would move to the farm in Colville, Washington where Wanda would soon own "Wanda's Café". Her best advertising was the smell of fresh cinnamon rolls in the morning which brought the crowds in. Wanda would run the Café for 8 years until she let it go so, she could help her husband around the farm. Wanda and Ernest were a part of the senior program with the forest service until they both retired.  Ernest and Wanda were married 53 years. Wanda loved not only owning the Café but her true love was crocheting. She would crochet blankets and baby clothes and give them away to people in need.

Wanda is preceded in death by her parents and her husband Ernest. She is survived by two daughters: Norine Miller of Indianapolis, Indiana and Jean Forest of Thornton, Colorado, one son: Raymond Miller of Grand Pass, Oregon, nine grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Services for Wanda will be held 11:00a.m Tuesday, October 11, 2022 at Danekas Funeral Chapel and crematory in Colville, Washington. She will be laid to rest following service at Mountain View Park.
