Timothy Troy
Macdonald
Jun 4, 1966 — Aug 6, 2024
Colville
MACDONALD, Timothy Troy. On August 6, 2024, Timothy Troy MacDonald passed away peacefully at the age of 58 in Colville, WA. Tim was born on June 4, 1966, in Pocatello, ID, a Chippewa (Ojibwe) Indian who is registered with the Turtle Mountain Tribe. At the age of three and a half Tim was lovingly adopted by William and Roslyn MacDonald. He grew up in Oregon as the youngest of two children and spent his childhood playing sports, enjoying the Oregon Coast, and fishing where he developed a deep love for nature and animals, especially his pure-bred black German shepherd, Trojan.
Tim excelled athletically in middle school and high school. He was a freshman at West Linn High School when he lettered in Varsity Soccer. A natural athlete, Tim was a beautiful golfer with a perfect swing. In the summers of his youth, Tim lived in Cheney, WA, with his aunt, uncle and cousins where he trained and swam competitively.
After high school Tim lived in Bend, OR, where he worked for the forestry department and met Jacqueline Graves and her mother, Ann. Together, they all made their way to Colville, WA, where Tim and Jacqueline settled down and raised a family of three beautiful children.
Years later, Tim met his neighbor, Regina Billings, welcoming her and her 5-year-old daughter, Jesse, with a gift of firewood to their home. Tim and Regina fell in love and married in 2019 at the Onion Creek Store Park surrounded by family and friends.
A self-proclaimed "Mountain Man", Tim's great passion for nature resulted in hours spent with his wife cultivating a vegetable garden behind his Onion Creek home. He worked in construction, enjoyed building things, riding dirt bikes, kayaking, fishing and was a superb fly fisherman. Tim had many animals in his life and could always be seen with his beloved dogs near him.
Tim's most outstanding accomplishment is his family. He was the proud father of three children and eight (8) grandchildren. His family grew with the addition of Regina's children and their families. Tim and Regina loved to garden, kayak and fish but were the happiest in their roles as grandparents.
Tim is survived by his family, including his beloved wife, Regina; mother of his children Jacqueline Victoria; his daughter, Serena Rayann and her children Sawyer St. Clair, Nyome Rose and Kodiak Orion; his son, Nathen Troy, daughter-in-law, Rose, and their children Trapper Matthew and Arrow Lincoln; his daughter Ashley Victoria, son-in-law, Mitchell and their children Gunnar Ray, Maylene Victoria, and Stormbjorn Franklin; his parents William and Roslyn; his sister Paris, brother-in-law, Joseph and their children Leah, Chana Tova, Shayna and Sara; his step-daughter, Raylyn, her husband Jesse and their children Adam, Nathan, Oliver, Evalyn, Cylis, and Marty; his step-daughter Violet, her husband Austin and their children Ensley, Brynlyn and Isaiah; his step-daughter Jesse; his uncles, aunts, and cousins and many friends.
The entire family will miss Timothy Troy unbearably. He was a kind son, brother, husband, father, and friend. He loved greatly and was greatly loved.
