In loving memory of Steven Bruce Porter

  Steven Bruce Porter passed away on July 28, 2026, in Colville, Washington. 

  Steven met his wife, Carol while working for the U.S.P.S. in Yakima, Washington, where they raised their blended family. Steven later worked in the field of education for thirty two years, his most recent work was as an Academic School counselor for the Columbia Virtual Academy located at the Kettle Falls High School in Kettle Falls Washington.

  Steven leaves behind his loving wife, Carol Porter, his two children, Awdrey Balm, and Corey Porter, his step daughter, Charity Thornton of Ellensburg, Washington, his two nephews, Kevin Porter of West Valley, Washington, Ian Porter of Roy, Washington, his niece, Laura Bergland of Kenmore, Washington, and numerous cousins. 

  We will miss you, Steven. You have been a wonderful husband, a good father, and a trusted friend to many. Happy trails until we meet again.
