In Loving Memory
Steven Wayne Harris
Steven Wayne Harris, 46, of Colville, Washington passed away at his home. He was born March 26, 1977 in Denver, Colorado to Wayne and Linda (Rutherford) Harris.
Steven went to Conifer High School, and in 2008 he had then gone on to obtain his GED at the Colville Community College. He worked for the Colorado Gothic Theatre which was his favorite job. He worked at the theatre for about two years where he was able to see many concerts and meet multiple celebrities. Soon after moving to Colville, he worked for All Pro Carpet, where he had spent time installing carpet and learning new skills. Later on, he was employed by the Washington State liquor control board, until it had been bought and owned privately by Ankur. He continued to work in the same liquor store. Steve enjoyed a lot of different hobbies, some of which included; photography, video games, music, cars, reading and collecting books, RC cars, and outdoor activities including dirt biking & fishing, camping. He also loved collecting knives and shooting guns for sport. Steve was filled with curiosity, he loved to learn anything he could and would always have something interesting to say about almost any given topic. He could've talked about anything from history facts to deep questions about psychology and space. He took pleasure in listening to several types of music, some of which are; The Misfits, Metallica, The Clancy Brothers, Mr. Bungle, Elvis, Bob Marley, The Cure, Siouxsie, The Banshees, Faith No More, Nine Inch Nails, and Pink Floyd. Steve was an incredibly charismatic individual, having almost always been the center of the party. He was great at making friends everywhere he went. A part of Steve's charisma was how he was able to say something interesting about almost any topic. He would go on rants about pretty much anything and there was always something to talk with him about. He had so much love to give, especially for his nieces and nephews, many of whom he treated & helped raise as if they were his own. He was always taking in those who needed a home, and there was something about him that helped keep people together. He was loved by many and will be sorely missed.
Steven is survived by his mother, Linda Lou Campbell, son, Trenton Harris of Colville, WA, daughter, Elise Harris of Colville, WA, sisters Rebecca Wilson of Colville, WA, Angela Harris of Colville, WA, Patricia Black of Salt Lake City, UT, Wendy Leypoldt of Denver, CO. He also lives on in his many nieces and nephews that he loved and cherished as if they were his own.
