Steffan Vanel

Steffan Vanel, born September 25, 1951 passed away peacefully on April 27, 2021 at the age of 69.  Born in Akron, Ohio to Harry and Dorothy (Paolucci) Walton , Steffan was a world traveler. He devoted his life to his fellow man through spiritual guidance and in-depth tarot readings. Steffan was the author of several books, including "The Astrological Karma of the U.S.A.," "The United States of America- A Celestial View : A Unique Analysis of the Character and Destiny of the USA Incorporating Astrological Insights." He also produced the original Hilarion Series of Ebooks channeled from the Ascended Master Hilarion.

While he began his professional practice in 1984, Steffan continued to be a spiritual guide, counselor and teacher until his death. He incorporated an inimitable synthesis of Astrology, Tarot, Kabbalah and Psychology. Steffan was also a longtime student of Vipassana and an apprentice of both North and South American shamanic indigenous practices. His travels have taken him to such places as Peru, Hong Kong and Europe. On a trip to London and Paris with his brother in the mid 1980's, while his brother returned after the initial ten-day vacation, Steffan remained in Europe for the next four years. This stay saw many explorations including being granted a private audience at the British Museum to view the original Aleister Crawley series of tarot cards.

Truly a remarkable student of adventure while impacting thousands of people along the way; Steffan always encompassed his devotion and practice of spiritual knowledge with his own ingredient – love.

Steffan met his wife Marama in Hawaii, and is survived by his 4 children and three grandchildren.

A service will be held on his Land at 2 pm on May 1st, 2021 in Curlew, Washington. Donations/gifts can be sent to any organization that helps to feed the needy. Danekas Funeral Chapel is entrusted in care.
