Sharon Louise
Manus
May 5, 1940 — Jun 12, 2024
Sharon Louise Miller Manus, born May 5, 1940, in Tremonton, UT to Charles and Josephine Miller passed away June 12, 2024 in Newport, WA.
In 1946 her mother moved her and her siblings to Spokane, WA. When Sharon was in high school her best friend, Pat, introduced her to her cousin Bob. Sharon and Bob fell in love and were married February 28, 1957. Shortly after they moved to Seaside, OR where their daughter LaDena was born. Not long after they moved back to Spokane where they would be blessed with two sons, Lance and Chad.
Sharon was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. She and Bob would be married in the Temple in June of 1965. Being a busy Mom, she also found time to teach Sunday school and volunteer at the school. Bob and Sharon's adventures would lead them to move several times which led to various jobs for Sharon – A surgical glove packer, running the fruit ranch in Green Bluff, WA where they lived, a Weight Watchers Lecturer, Home Interiors Representative, the laundry lady for West Valley School District, a mail carrier for Otis Orchards Post Office and finally, Furhmans and Fantasias Feedstore in Chewelah. Sharon loved waterskiing double with Bob in her younger years, dancing, music, camping with her family, gardening collecting rocks and chickens -she LOVED chickens! Sharon enjoyed time with her children, grandchildren, family and friends. Sharon was ALWAYS a country girl at heart and loved their home and pets in Chewelah.
Sharon was preceded in death by her husband Bobby Ken Manus, her mother, Josephine Morford, her father, Charles Miller, and brother Donald Miller. She leaves behind a sister, Coleen Wisenor, her daughter LaDena (Duane) Davidson of the Spokane Valley, sons Lance (Vickie) Manus of Chewelah, WA and Chad (Cristi) Manus of Colville, WA.; grandchildren La Shara, Leslie, Cassandra, Lijah, Ken, and Amber; and numerous Great Grandchildren. A celebration of life will be held at the Legion in Chewelah, WA on July 6, 2024 at 11:00 am.
