Sharon Hill
Enright
Feb 2, 1939 — Mar 22, 2022
In Loving Memory
Sharon (Parker) Hill Enright
Sharon (Parker) Hill Enright, age 83, passed away on March 22, 2022, in Spokane, WA. After a short battle with cancer.
Sharon was born in Wenatchee, WA, on February 2, 1939, to Randall and Marge Parker. Sharon spent most of her life in Colville. There she met and married Delvin Hill; They were married for over 50 years until Delvin passed away in 2011 due to Alzheimer's related issues. They had years of great adventures snowmobiling, vacationing for at least a couple of weeks each summer on the Oregon coast with their two children, Shardell, and Delvin (JR); Seaside was a family favorite. Summers at the cabin on Thomas Lake were very important to her and the family, and of course, Sharon and Delvin loved the many trips taken on their Goldwing motorcycle. Sharon loved watching her much-loved Seahawks. She referred to them as the heart attack kids because she felt like she would have that heart attack every game.
Along with her many outside interests, Sharon started a career in budget and finance with the Colville NF immediately after graduation from high school. A job that Sharon chose to retire from after more than two decades to allow her and her best friend Hazel Cole to start Cole-Hill Business Services and later purchase Tri-County escrow. They operated the two businesses until they sold in 1988. Sharon went on to work as the bookkeeper for Carey's Auto Body Inc. until she decided to retire completely.
Sharon decorated for every holiday and was sure the yard reflected the same. Sharon loved to read and was curious and intelligent. She was a skilled bowler and loved to play golf. You may have encountered her at one of the area casinos, trying her luck. She was a life-long member of the Eagles. She loved Maui and all of the friends she made there. She couldn't wait to get back to see those friends and her much loved Maui sunsets each year.
Several years after Delvin passed, Sharon rekindled her high school romance with Larry Enright. They were married in 2018, and the adventures continued. They spent time riding four-wheel ATVs, boating and hanging out at the cabin on Thomas Lake, working on the Enright ranch together, and making it to Sharon's much-loved Maui once together. Larry passed away in 2020.
In July of 2021, Sharon moved to Spokane to be closer to Shardell and Delvin (JR), her two children, her only grandchild, Cory, his wife, Julie, and her great-grandsons Wyat and Karder. Her great-Grandsons were the absolute joy in her life. She could not see enough of them and enjoyed all of the pictures and notes they made for her and their many visits to keep her up to date on everything.
There will not be a day that goes by we will not remember our mom, Grandma, Great Grandma, Partner, and Dear Friend. Her strong will and ready smile made you want to be her friend. Her quick wit was terrific and such fun. She spent many years being a caregiver to many family members and always did it with love.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Randall and Marge Parker, her husband of more than 50 years, Delvin Hill, her husband of 2 years, Larry Enright, and her son Delvin (JR) Hill JR.
Sharon is survived by her daughter Shardell (Brad) Shrum, Grandson Cory (Julie) Shrum, Great Grand Sons Wyat and Karder Shrum, Stepdaughter Diane (Frank) Hawkins, Stepson Jerry (Teresa) Enright.
