In Loving Memory
Scott Marshall Douglas
Scott M Douglas was born in Evanston, Illinois in 1946 to Clyde Emmett Douglas and Judith Douglas. He passed away on November 28, 2021 after a short but intense illness. He was raised in Phoenix Arizona and lived in several states as an adult. Scott and his wife, Lurinda Ruth moved to the Colville area in 2006 to be close to Lurinda's family.
Scott graduated with a Master's degree from American Graduate School of International Management in 1978. He traveled the world making presentations on video conferencing and working with businesses in marketing research. He was always willing to help people in their endeavors. He volunteered his time with SCORE (Senior Core of Retired Executives) and counseled people who wanted to start their own business.
He was sole proprietor of his own consulting business as well.
Scott was generous, kind, a loving soul and he loved to laugh. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. His favorite pastime was reading, always researching, learning new ideas and keeping up with current events. He loved taking care of his lawn.
Scott was preceded in death by his older sister, Diana DeMille and her husband Ernie DeMille, as well as his parents. Scott is survived by his favorite wife, Lurinda, sister Cheryl Clayton of Springfield Massachusetts, his niece Kathreen DeMille of Phoenix Arizona, his cousins Greg Palmer, Randy Palmer, David Palmer, Mike Douglas, and Rick Douglas.
He will be missed by his extended family in the Colville area, Dean Everson, Sandi Everson, Lydia & Brian Tost and family and Rebecca Everson & Ryan Bray and family. Also Pattie & Brice Lenz in the Seattle area. He leaves a big hole in our hearts but we will be reunited again.
