In Loving Memory of

Sam Guglielmo

Sam Guglielmo passed after many long years of living in the Pacific Northwest. Sam was a man whose life was defined by the great outdoors, a deep-rooted work ethic, and his friends and family.

Sam’s legacy is perhaps best reflected in the time he spent building Heart L Ranch alongside his beloved wife, Lori, who precedes him in death. A true sportsman with a generous spirit, Sam was deeply involved in the community, most notably through his dedication to the Fishing for Kids events at Clear Lake. He found immense joy in sharing his passion for the water with the next generation, teaching patience and the simple thrill of the catch. When he wasn’t mentoring others, Sam could most often be found on the lake pursuing his favorite pastime, walleye fishing, and enjoying a bit of “root beer”.

Sam is survived by his sons, Sam Guglielmo II, Anthony, and Christopher Guglielmo. He welcomed their partners—Sonja, Samie, and Kate—into the family with open arms and was an incredible father-in-law. Sam had a special soft spot, and an endless supply of gummy bears, for his grandchildren: Chelsea, Alexus, Zeke, Tillie, and Sam. Sam is also survived by his sister, Tina Metheny, and great-grandchildren: Jax and Scarlett. His presence will be profoundly missed but his influence will live on through the many lives he touched and the family and friends he so dearly loved.

Services will be scheduled for early summer to celebrate a life well-lived. In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made in Sam’s memory to the Lake Roosevelt Walleye Club. May he find eternal peace on the calmest of waters, forever casting his line into the golden light of a horizon that never ends.
