In Loving Memory

Sally Dell Harding

Sally Dell Harding enter in to rest August 13, 2023 with family gathered around her. She was born and raised in Chewelah and was a beloved member of the community and will be sorely missed by all that knew her. Born May 30th 1934, to James William Day and Sarah Elma (Lemon) Day.

Her and her siblings Diane Day (John) Coryell, JoAnn Dee (George) Saylor, James Lee (Waneta) Day grew up during the Great Depression helping to make ends meet by working on a nearby farm and donating their beloved tire swing for the war effort. She married the love of her life Warren Harding on February 25th 1956, and raised their four kids in Burnt Valley, Roger Lewis (Cindy), Kelly Jeanine (David) Stahl, Julie Etta (Dan) McPhee and Gary Darren (Heather). She was quite happy being a wife and mother and loved all the little babies that came along! She found joy in simple things like coffee with neighbors who loved to stop by for a cup and visit. She was also on a first name basis with local police, but I'm sure that was because it was such a small town *wink wink.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and three of her kids and three of her siblings. She left a beautiful legacy in her love of her family and extended family that will honor her memory for years to come through their love for one another. She was one of the kindest, most inclusive women we have ever had the honor of knowing.

A celebration of life will be planned in the nearby future. The family encourages everyone to come celebrate with them at that time.
