Obituary

In Loving Memory

Robert Allen "Bob" Chamberlain

Robert Allen Chamberlain, age 64, passed away unexpectedly at his Kettle Falls, Washington home on December 16, 2022.  Robert was born on May 7, 1958 to Edward and Dawn (Arbogaust) Chamberlain in Pensacola, Florida.

Robert's father was in the military, so he spent much of his childhood stationed at various bases throughout the United States.  Robert would begin his career as a firefighter very early in life, becoming the youngest firefighter in the State of California.  While he was here, he also attended college in Imperial Beach for fire sciences.  Robert would meet Mary "Beth" Lane, and the two were soon wed.

After graduating from college, Robert made the decision to selflessly serve in the United States Army for 4 and a half years in Germany.  Here, he and Mary would welcome their first child, Brenda. Following his military service, Robert and his family would relocate to Moses Lake where he began a 40+ year career as a journeyman electrician, and they welcomed a second daughter, Elizabeth, who passed away shortly after her birth.

Robert and Beth would part ways in the years following, and after a brief time in California, Robert would find his way back to Marcus, where he would meet the love of his life, Julie, after his daughter and her kids played matchmaker to set the couple up together.  Julie and Robert would be wed in 1999, and they would spend the next 22 years developing their property, gardening and canning vegetables, and enjoying time with friends and family.

When he wasn't working or developing his property, Robert was a skilled guitar player, and he could pass hours by playing a multitude of tunes.  He also loved nature, and he took any chance he could to enjoy the beauty of Eastern Washington.

Robert was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Dawn Chamberlain, and an infant daughter, Elizabeth.

He is survived by his ex-wife and close friend, Julie Chamberlain; his children, Brenda and Theresa; his siblings, Kenny, Ty, Susan, Twilah, and Tiffany; and 10 grandchildren.
