Obituary

Riley Lewis Walker, age 28, passed away unexpectedly on October 11, 2023 at his Spokane Valley, WA residence.  Riley was born on Dec. 7, 1994 in Colville, WA the son of Brad D. and Kimberly A. (Eikelberger) Walker.

Riley was raised in Kettle Falls, WA where he graduated with the class of 2013 from the Kettle Falls High School.  Following high school, he attended Spokane Community College.  Riley then began working with the U.S. Forest Service and had worked his way up to a GS-7.  He enjoyed his work in the woods as a Forestry Technician and assisting in Timber Sales.  Riley also worked as a part time firefighter and farmer.

Riley was the oldest of 3 brothers who always had extremely laid-back approach and who led with kindness and generosity.  He would offer all he had to others and would give the shirt off of his back if asked.  Riley's nature was also sweet and gentle with a great sense of humor.  Riley loved to sing and spend time both at work and play, in the outdoors where he marveled at the beauty of the trees, plants, and animals.  Many hours were spent, fishing and hunting.  Riley was proud to be an American and took special pleasure in professional firework displays that celebrated our freedoms.

Riley was preceded in death by his; paternal grandparents, Max and Marcel Walker, Richard and Mary Pearsall; maternal grandparents, Ralph and Dorothy Eikelberger, John and Eloise Carsok.

He is survived by his parents; Brad and Jamie Walker, Kimberly Walker and Frank Reddeman;  brother, Jamison Walker, his wife, Kayla, and their children, Van Wason and Max Walker; brother, Shay Walker; grandparents, Doanld and Luana Walker of Kettle Falls, WA, Alan and Marybeth Eikelberger of Ammon, ID, Dave and Chrissy Studer of Washington, ME.

A celebration of life for Riley Lewis Walker, will be held from 12:00 – 3:00 p.m., Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Northern Ales in Kettle Falls, WA.  Please bring a favorite potluck dish and memory to share.  Please visit the on-line memorial and sign the guestbook at www.danekasfuneralchapel.com
