In loving Memory of Richard Romeike

Richard Romeike, surrounded by his loving wife and family, passed away in Colville Washington on January 22, 2026. He was born in Santa Monica, California, to his parents Earl and Lorraine Romeike on October 26, 1951.

Richard grew up in Mariposa, California. Later in life, he met his true love, Luceba Westfall, and they were married on October 02, 1989 in Carson city, Nevada.

He was always cheerful and positive. Richard loved to help and contribute to friends and family. His favorite task was splitting fire wood. He also took pride in his weeding and lawn care even with his limited mobility.

Richard is preceded in death by his parents, Earl and Lorraine Romeike, step daughter, Lynnette (Westfall) Campbell, and stepson, Woodard Westfall. He is survived by his wife, Luceba Romeike, his sister, Marlene Romeike, of Mariposa, California, step son, Ben Westfall (Deborah Westfall), of Colville, Washington, and step son, David Westfall (Jana Westfall), of Salt Lake City, Utah.

A service for Richard Romeike will be held on Thursday, February 5, 2026, at the Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory on 155 West First Avenue in Colville Washington. Online condolences may be made at www.danekasfuneralchapel.com
