Pearl Mance

Pearl Mance, age 97, passed away peacefully on December 31, 2022 in Colville, Washington.  Pearl was born on March 4, 1925 in Hood River, Oregon.

Pearl would graduate from Puyallup high school with the class of 1943 before beginning nurses training in Seattle, Washington.   Ralph Robert Mance and Pearl were married in 1946 and raised two children, Sharon and Stephen in Sumner, WA.

Following Ralph's passing in 1998, Pearl remained in her home until 2008 when she relocated to Colville and moved into the Buena Vista Apartments. Pearl was a very social person and enjoyed planning social events, participated in resident council and continually made new friends with fellow residents and staff throughout the 14 years she called Buena Vista home.

Pearl enjoyed spending time with her family and traveling. She was an avid reader and letter writer.  She was actively involved in local politics, serving on the Sumner and Colville City Council and as a board member in various local community organizations well into her eighties.

Pearl will be laid to rest with her husband, Ralph Robert Mance and son Stephen, at the Tahoma National Cemetery in Kent, Washington.  Please visit the on-line memorial and sign the guestbook at www.danekasfuneralchapel.com .  Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements.
