In Loving Memory

Patricia Ann Lambert

Patricia Ann Lambert, age 76, longtime resident of the Stevens County area, passed away on December 10, 2022 surrounded by her loving family due to several health complications.  Patricia was born on April 23, 1946 in Everett, Washington to Robert and Alberta (Rowe) Lashua.

Raised in Marysville, Washington, Patricia would take on her first job, harvesting strawberries, just as she was entering her teenage years, developing the strong work ethic she carried with her throughout her life.  In her youth, Patricia was a skilled ballet dancer, and spent several years as a Campfire Girl.  A few short years after her high school graduation, she and the love of her life, Larry Lambert, would be introduced through their parents, and the two were quickly enamored with each other.  It was a whirlwind romance, and they were joined in marriage on September 6, 1968, settling down in Startup, Washington.  Patricia had a passion for horses since childhood, so she, along with Larry's assistance began raising Arabian horses long with the children that they began to welcome together.

After having relocated from Marysville to Everett, Patricia and Larry made the decision to move east towards Stevens County, settling in Colville in 1973.  Here, they were able to begin their family farmette, raising dairy cows, gardening, harvesting vegetables, and raising horses, all while Patricia and Larry continued to grow their family.  In 1976, Larry, Patricia, and their children were introduced to the truth by Larry's family, and have been active members in the congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses ever since. Patricia and Larry felt their family was complete after their 13 th child, and in 1986 the family would relocate to a piece of property on Tiger Highway, where they were able to finish raising their kids.

As their nest started to empty, Patricia was able to reconnect with her passion for horse training on a deeper level, founding Rosewild Farms along with Larry, where the two would lovingly care for horses, perform training and groundwork into the late 90's, when Patricia's developing health concerns would force her to begin to slow down with her activities and hobbies.  Patricia continued to care for horses as long as she was physically able to, with her daughter Tovah.

Patricia's family was one of her greatest joys in this world, she spent many days throughout their childhood baking loaves of bread to feed them (up to eight loves at a time) and just as soon as they appeared, the kids gladly helped them disappear again.  She and Larry took the kids on countless camping trips, and she passed along all of the essential skills she had picked up throughout her life.  There are many fond memories the kids share of lessons on canning, cooking, baking, and even cleaning.  Her strength and perseverance as she faced multiple health issues- namely kidney failure and breast cancer, has been a guide and inspiration to her entire family.

Patricia was preceded in death by her loving husband of 49 years, Larry Fred Lambert, as well as three of her sons, John Lawrence, Joshua Adam, and James Steven Lambert.

She is survived by ten children, Shawnalee Farrington (Mike) of South Carolina, Gina Dashiell (Jason Nash) of Colville, WA, David Lambert, Matthew Lambert, Chirstopher Lambert (Jenny) all of Colville, WA, Joel Lambert (Sarah) and Jeremy Lambert (Amy) of Spokane, WA, Sabrina Franz (Gary), Tovah Lehr (James) and Deidre McGilvra (Scott) all of Colville, WA; fourteen grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren.
