In Loving Memory

Nadine "Toots" Marie Beitey

Nadine Marie Beitey is BEAUTIFUL!

Nadine Marie Beitey joined the Lord on August 06, 2023, at age 86. She was born to Dennis and Lucille Healy, the second oldest of seven children. She graduated from Spokane's Marycliff High School (1955) and the Columbia School of Nursing, Great Falls, MT (1958). She married her husband of 50 years, Gerald Beitey (1963), and raised their four sons in a house full of testosterone with grace, humor, and humility.

She was an avid quilter. You likely have one or more of her quilts with your cherished possessions if you knew her. She was often inseparable from her sister/partner-in-crime, Theresa Healy. Nadine was no stranger to great personal tragedy, which she endured with the help of her family and her profound Catholic faith. Nadine will be deeply missed by her family, friends, and community. She will always be remembered for her joyful spirit, kind heart, and unconditional love.

Nadine is predeceased in death by her parents, Dennis and Lucille Healy; Sisters, Theresa Healy, Shelia (& Larry) Reid, and Agnes Healy; her husband, Gerald Beitey; and her sons, Patrick Beitey and Thomas Beitey. She is survived by her brothers Kevin (& Betty) Healy, Dennis (& Cindy) Healy; sister Diane (& Richard) McGreevy; and sons Joseph Beitey and Daniel Beitey.

The funeral services for Nadine Beitey will begin with a rosary service at Jump Off Joe Catholic Church in Valley, Washington, Saturday, September 16, at 10:30 a.m., followed by a funeral mass.  Nadine will be laid to rest at Jump Off Joe Cemetery in Valley, Washington.  A reception will follow At St. Mary of the Rosary Catholic Church in Chewelah, Washington.  Instead of flowers, the family requests donations to the Poor-Clare Nuns at 4419 N Hawthorne St, Spokane, WA, 99205 (509) 327-4479, in Nadine's memory.
