Michael Edward Murbach

     Michael Edward Murbach was born on June 24, 1953, in Chewelah Washington. He was kind, dependable and a friend to all. Michael graduated in 1972. And in 1995, he married the love of his life, Alice Murbach.

     Mike and Alice were blessed with six children, thirteen grandchildren, and six great-grandchildren. Mike made everyone feel like family, and he welcomed any and all to be one of his “kids.” He loved spending time with family and enjoyed camping, rafting, visiting museums, and seeing shows.

     Mike was dedicated and hard working. He faithfully worked forty-seven years for Lane Mountain. He retired at 65 years of age, but continued to keep making amazing memories with his family.

     He told the best “Papa jokes!” And his humor was always appreciated. He lives on in our hearts and in our memories.

     There will be a Rosary at 10:00 a.m. and a mass at 10:30 a.m. at Saint Mary of the Rosary Catholic Church in Chewelah, Washington on July 24, 2026, followed by a burial at Jump Off Joe Cemetery.
