Maxine Ruth ( Korman) Campbell

Maxine was born on November 23rd 1928 in Westhope, North Dakota to John and Sabina Korman.
At a young age Maxine and family moved to Corvallis, Montana where she attended school graduating in 1947.  While still in school she met a handsome young man named Charles Campbell and they married in July 1947.  The family relocated to Colville Washington in 1957 where they bought a farm and raised their two sons.  Maxine was a hard worker and spent many hours along side her husband and sons in the woods and milking a herd of cows by hand.  She was a true farm gal at heart and loved the chickens, cows and the smell of fresh turned soil in the spring.

In 1971 they moved to Othello Washington where they also farmed until  Charles' passing in 1981.  Maxine then went to work for Carnation potatoes where she was a dedicated employee for over 20 years.  Also during this time she was able to embark on many world wide travels with friends.  After her retirement in 1998 she returned to Colville to be closer to family where she resided until her passing on September 23rd at her home.  Maxine, affectionately known as GG, will be remembered as a thoughtful, generous, fun loving gal who loved flowers, old tv westerns, and a good lively game of pinochle.

She was preceded in death by her parents John and Sabina and her husband Charles.  Surviving Maxine are her sons Jack (Donna) Colville and Bill
(Mary) of White Salmon. Grandchildren Kristine Trudell and Jason Campbell and great grandchildren; Ali Whitman, Lindsey Trudell and Cook Campbell; one sister Beverley Grant, Spokane and 6 nieces and nephews.  At her request, there will be no services but a gathering of friends and family at a later date.
