Mary Ellen Thayer

Mary Ellen Thayer, a longtime Kettle Falls Resident, passed away in Spokane, WA on October 8, 2021.  Mary was born to Michael and Dorothy (Hahn) Keller in Omaha, NE on July 1, 1951.

Mary was a faithful servant of the Lord, and she loved God with all of her heart.  When she wasn't hard at work, Mary loved to go to church, where she would give gum to the kids, spend time with her loving family, and give out some of the best hugs.  Holidays were big for Mary, and she loved decorating, as well as the extra time with those she loved.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Michael and Dorothy Jean Keller; her son, Michael William Thayer, her brothers, Michael and Johnny Keller; and her sister, Joann Keyser.

She is survived by her loving husband of 51 years, Michael Thayer; her son, Daniel Lee Thayer; her daughter, Linda Jackson; her brother, Joey Lee Keller; 2 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews.
