Mary Catherine Everett

Mary Catherine Everett, who was known to everyone as Aunt Mary, went peacefully to be with the Lord on Wednesday, April 17, 2024, in Colville, Washington. She was enveloped in prayer and surrounded by many of her great nephews and niece, great great nephews, nieces and all who loved her.

She was born in Creola, Alabama in 1927 and lived through the Great Depression and WWII. One of her favorite memories was working for NASA on the launch of Apollo 11, which landed on the moon. Throughout her long life, Mary spent a lot of time outdoors as an adventurer. While fishing was her favorite outdoor sport, she was an avid gardener. Mary was fearless and when she turned 80 years old, she went wave-running on Flathead Lake during a storm. When asked how it was, she responded, "I've ridden mules who have bucked harder". She always brought a smile to everyone who met her, and she will be greatly missed.

She leaves behind numerous beloved nephews and nieces, great nephews and nieces, great great nephews and nieces and great great great nephews and nieces.
