Mary Luella Carnahan

Mary Luella Carnahan entered into life on the seventh of February in 1938. She was born in Port Huron Michigan to her parents, Clifford and Donna Lane.

Mary Lou had a beautiful childhood on the shores of Lake Huron with all the family, neighbors & friends whom she had kept in contact through the years. Never forgetting to send a card or note on anyone's birthday, holiday or anniversary, making weekly phone calls to all friends and family.
Among her hobbies that she delighted in the most as a child was ice skating. It was while ice skating that Mary Lou met the love of her life, Richard "Dick" Carnahan. They were in sixth grade and Mary Lou would love Richard from that day forward.

Mary Lou and Dick enjoyed fishing, traveling all over the county, gardening and taking in as many children as they possibly could. She had a knack for making everyone feel welcome. The couple always took pride in the fact that they could grow anything, whether it be in the garden or in their home.

Mary Lou had a passion for throwing lovely tea parties, with the Grandkids, Great-Grandchildren and neighbors. She was also an incredible baker and would often make something delicious to accompany the wonderful tea parties. Mary's chocolate pie was among the favorite recipes that everyone enjoyed together.

The family also fondly remembers that Mary Lou loved playing games, baking or a walk around the yard and gardens with the grandchildren and great grandchildren, laying out on the lawn and watching the clouds. Many precious memories were made doing just that.

Mary Lou entered into rest on November 13, of 2024. She was surrounded by family. She is preceded in death by her husband Richard Carnahan, her parents Clifford and Donna, Lane- Port Huron MI, and her brother Tom Lane and his wife, Maryann-Port Huron, MI.
Mary Lou is survived by her 3 children, 7 Grand children , 11 great grandchildren.
Her Daughter Gwen Hansen, her husband Darren Colville, WA, Daughter Melissa, her husband Josh Wolf Addy, their 3 children Patrick, Millie, Carter.
Her Son, Kelly Carnahan, his wife Laurie Buckley, WA, their 2 Sons, Kenny his wife Ashley their 4 children, Rylen, Kylar, Karter, Stella.
James & Tanya their son Pierce.
Her Son Richard Carnahan of NV, his wife Kat and their 4 daughters, Lacey, her husband Daniel, their children Calliope, Dean.
Desirae of AZ her daughters Audrina, Julianna.
Kelly, her husband James Greiner, Buckley WA.
Jessica Stott, ID her daughter Taylor, and many, many more children that were through their home over the years, and special family member Jeff Sodorf-wife Vandy, NV.
