Marline "Alma" Kulp Sailor-Wagner

Marline Alma Kulp Sailor-Wagner, age 91, a long time resident of Colville, passed away on October 1, 2021.

Alma was born on July 1, 1930 in Albion, WA, the daughter of Marlan John and Anna Myrl Kulp.  She lived in Albion through her grade years, then the family moved to the Colville area.  Alma graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 1948.

Alma married her first husband, Charles Norman Sailor May 2, 1949 in Colville.  Alma started working at a local dry cleaning business when her three children were still very young.  In 1973, they moved to Moses Lake where they managed a motel.  The following year, they sold their farm and bought the motel.  While living in Moses Lake, Alma was able to enjoy her music, painting and club activities.  When she retired they returned to the Colville area and bought a house in Kettle Falls.  In January 2008, Alma's husband of 58 years passed away.

On March 22, 2009, Alma married William Wagner, a friend from school days.  They lived in Colville enjoying camping, traveling, senior club, and church until she could no longer live at home.

Preceded in death by her parents, Marlan and Anna Kulp; brothers, Myron, Vernon, and Ervin Kulp; sister Ruby Kulp and her first husband, Charles Sailor.

Survived by her husband, William Wagner of Grand Island, Nebraska; sister Arvella Jenkins of Hayden, ID; three children, Charles Sailor of Colville, WA, Melvin Sailor of Buhl, ID, Cathy Sailor of Bremerton, WA; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren.
