Marjorie "Margie" Carol Perryman, age 87, a longtime resident of Colville, WA passed away on November 7, 2024 in Colville, WA. She was born on January 10, 1937 in Hillsboro, OR the daughter of Fred James and Minnie (Nelson) Oliver.
Margie was raised and attended school in Hillsboro, OR and then moved to Chewelah while she was in high school. Margie graduated in 1955 in Jenkins High School and then attended nursing school where she graduated as a Licensed Practical Nurse. She married Harold Lloyd Perryman and they began a family. While raising her family, Margie worked at Buena Vista Nursing Home for over a decade. Her heart found purpose caring for the elderly. She worked the night shift at Pinewood Terrace Nursing Home for over 20 years and then began to ease into retirement as an in-home nurse for private patients. She retired in 2004 and turned her attention to her family. She moved in with her daughter, Cindy.
Margie worked long nights so that she could be present with her children in the day. They shared in many weekend rodeos as she supported her children in horse competitions throughout the inland Northwest and beyond. She was a dedicated mother and grandmother and cherished each new family memory. Margie enjoyed traveling and visiting lady luck at the local casinos. While home she grew a large garden and had a passion for flowers. Margie was wonderfully strong willed and a bit feisty on occasion. With her heart in the lead, she offered a superior level of care for all and she will be missed.
Margie was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Harold Perryman and her sister, Leara Kendel.
She is survived by her 4 children, Carol Mooney of Colville, Connie Glover (David) of Addy, Cindy Siemsen (Randy) of Shepherd, MT and Casey Perryman (Anna) of Inchelium, 9 grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren and a host of extended family and friends.
A memorial service for Marjorie C. Perryman will be at a later date. Memorial contributions may be given to your local VFW or by purchasing a Poppie to support Veterans.
