In Loving Memory

LeeEllen Miller

Ms. LeeEllen Miller, age 37, passed away September 12, 2024 in Springdale, WA.  LeeEllen was born September 29, 1986 in Spokane, WA to Dean or Mary Miller.   At the age of 11 years old she was baptized as one of Jehovah's Witnesses old and participated in the full-time ministry for several years.

A social butterfly who never met a stranger, LeeEllen loved talking to everyone.  She was fearless.  As a young girl, she was always the first to jump out of trees.  LeeEllen was a deeply caring person being there for people when they needed someone.

LeeEllen loved many activities, including swimming and knitting.  Perhaps the most memorable activity was her cooking and baking.  Everyone loved her cheesecake and her fajitas.

LeeEllen worked alongside her father in the family window washing business.  Her father was very proud of what she could do.

She might have grown up in Spokane, but in reality, she was reared in the library.  She absolutely loved to read!  The library was a place of awe and wonder and escape for her.  Many hours were spent there exploring the world, learning history, and escaping into a novel.

LeeEllen married when she was 21 years old and divorced 8 years later.

LeeEllen is survived by her mother, Mary (Fisher) Miller; father, Dean Miller; older sister, Elizabeth Gage and family; Younger brother, Benjamin Miller; Uncle John Fisher and family; Uncle Darrel Miller and family; Aunt Cindy Miller and family; Aunt Becky Patrick and Family; and Aunt Jenny Miller and Family; and special person in her life, Daseph McNair.

A memorial service will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024 at 3:00 pm at the Spokane Valley Library at 22N. Herold.
