Larry Arthur Hanner

Larry Arthur Hanner, age 91, passed in Colville, WA on October 17, 2021.  Larry was born on November 28, 1929 in Oberon, ND, to Harry and Hazel (Smoke) Hanner.

Larry was raised in Oso, WA, relocating to Daisy, WA his senior year and graduated from Hunters.

He worked as an ironworker for 35 years, working in all the western states, including Alaska and Canada.  Some of the projects he worked on in this area include: Grand Coulee Dam, Boundary Dam, Box Canyon Dam, Arrowhead Dam, and the Alcoa Plant.

He was a pilot and owned his own plane and would fly home on weekends to be with his family.  He loved to fish, and spent several summers fishing the ocean in Ilwaco, WA, making many new friends and fishing buddies.  He traveled the US and Mexico in his motorhome for many years until he eventually purchased a home in Yuma, Az and became a snowbird for 22 years.  Larry was also proud of his service to his country in the Navy.  He lived life to the fullest and he had many things left on his bucket list he planned to do.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Harry and Hazel Hanner; as well as sis sisters, Delores and Janice.

He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Evelyn; his Daughters, Shery (Roger) Barton, Linda (John) Mcnally, and Kathy (Joe) Bales; his grandchildren, Jared and Kaylee; and his siblings, Bob and Wanda.

Danekas Funeral Chapel is entrusted in care.
