Ree Henderson
Apr 12, 1949 — Dec 23, 2024
Kettle Falls
With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our Cherished Mother Lanaa Henderson on the early morning of December 23, 2024, at the age of 75. She was the first of three children born on April 12, 1949, to Art and Mary Wilson. She was raised in Kettle Falls in a happy, thoughtful, and loving home.
Lanaa graduated from Kettle Falls in 1967 and soon started her second journey in life marrying Mark Henderson. Together they raised three children, Troy, Shaun, and Tauni. She was a wonderful and loving wife, mother, sister, grandma, great-grandma, and aunt. She was always there when the family needed her the most, offering support, wisdom, love, and life in abundance. A friend to many, she was a cherished member of the community in Kettle Falls leaving behind a legacy of kindness and strength.
Lanaa was a strong fan and supporter of country music, being raised in a country music family where her dad played music throughout the area. That legacy moved on after marrying the love of her life Mark, who also joined her dad in playing country music through the years. We will dearly miss the kindest and most loving woman in the world. She will always be with us and in our hearts, still guiding us through life.
Lanaa was preceded in death by her parents Arthur and Mary Wilson. Lanaa is survived by her husband Mark Henderson. Three children; Troy Henderson of Kettle Falls, Shaun Henderson (Sonja) of Kettle Falls, Tauni Henderson of Colville. Siblings; Rick Wilson of Kettle Falls, Rauna Wilson of Colville. Grandchildren; Marcus Henderson, Morgan Henderson, Shanaa Henderson, Camden Henderson, Amy, Ryan and Charles Phillips, Dakoda Rogalette, Payeton Rogalette, and Daulten Henderson.
