Kristine Marie (Anderson) Garcia

Kristine Anderson Garcia, age 60, of Chewelah, Washington passed away December 30, 2021.

Kristine was born in Topeka, Kansas on July 21, 1961 to Mike (Harold) and Nadine Anderson. She was the fourth of 5 children. Her childhood included growing up in Kansas, California and finally settling in Washington in the early 70's. She married Larry Elser in 1979 and raised three sons.

After finishing her high school studies and raising her family she attended SCC College and graduated with a degree in business on a presidential honor roll and a 3.4 GPA. Kristine married Shawn Garcia in 2018 and settled in Chewelah. She worked at the Colville court house after graduating college. She enjoyed sewing, cooking and being with her family.

Kristine was predeceased by her parents Mike (Harold) and Nadine Anderson and sister Karen Kernel.

She is survived by her husband Shawn Garcia, three children Jon (Ashley) Elser, Jim (Kristin) Elser and Jesse (Amanda) Elser, 5 grandchildren and many nieces and nephews who loved her dearly.

Siblings Ken (Debbie) Anderson, Kathy (Mike) Lane, and Kevin Anderson.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date. Danekas Funeral Chapel & Crematory have been entrusted in care.
