Kenneth John Abel

Kenneth John Abel passed away Saturday, November 11, 2023 in Chewelah, Washington. Ken was born August 20, 1953 in Stamford, Connecticut to the late Mark and Dorothy (Stockwell) Abel.

Ken was a mechanic/ maintenance man at the Chewelah Golf and Country Club. He could fix just about anything he laid his hands on. Everyone called on Ken if there was something to be fixed and he would help out anyway he could. He was a boisterous, fun and loving guy. Ken touched lives where ever he went. He loved outdoors, fishing, hunting and loved his guns. Most of all he loved taking long rides with the love of his life Lynn Abel.

Ken is survived by his wife, Lynn Abel, Sons - Jeremy Abel, Jacob Abel, Step son Aaron Petersen, Step daughter Teresa Brandstrom, Grandchildren - Amanda Ekerson, Jesse Estrada, Kazlynn Rogers, Lyla Petersen, Quinlee Petersen, Logan Brandstrom, Skylar Brandstrom, Mary Spangler, Anna Spangler, Great grandchildren – Sophia Antoine, Remington Antoine, Basin Brandstrom, Scarlett Brandstrom, Tucker Butler, Jessuph Estrada, Jr..
