John Stephen Geiges passed away peacefully on March 8, 2022 in Spokane, WA at the age of 77.  He was born January 13, 1945 in Lakehurst, New Jersey.

John was adopted early in life by Carl and Pauline Geiges, who would raise him near Lakehurst, NJ, where he would attend school. After High School, John joined the Navy and served his country during the Vietnam War. John would eventually make his way to Colville, Washington, settling in the area around 2000.

John was described by his family as a man everyone loved, a saint, and a Christian man that was very passionate about his faith. He never raised his voice and was very patient. Part of his ministering to others was spending time taking them fishing. John loved lake fishing and spent many days on Waits Lake. He also loved his hobby of scroll sawing- he would make gifts with this skill to take down to the veterans at the Mann-Grandstaff VA Medical Center in Spokane, WA.

John was survived by his wife, nine children, twenty-four grandchildren and five great grandchildren. He will be truly missed.
