Joanna Marie Kulp

April 13, 1928 – December 14, 2021

Preceded in death by her husband, Myron Kulp; and her siblings, Alice, Audrey, Ralph, Herman, and Harry.  Survived by her children David, Alton (Kathy) Kulp, Gary (Patricia) Kulp, Tom Kulp, Ron (Sandra) Kulp, and Rhonda Kulp; and her siblings, Mary Ann (Leland) Searl, Ivan Rotter, Elsie Tull, and Ida Rotter.

Joanna loved her family beginning with her husband Myron.  They enjoyed 39 wonderful years together prior to Myron's death.  Her children and grandchildren were her special treasure.  She loved Jesus and was a faithful member of Colville First Church of God (now Lifeline Church) for over 60 years where she served as a Sunday School teacher and bookkeeper for several decades.

She loved to make quilts with her mom, Mary Rotter, and the other ladies in the church.  For many years whenever a baby was born to a family in the church, they received a baby quilt made by this prestigious group of ladies - not to mention all the relatives that now have keepsakes adorning their bedrooms.

Most of Joanna's life was spent on a dairy farm.  She was a hard worker helping out with the chores, raising a big garden and caring for her two families - her first family of four biological children, and then her second family of children formally and informally adopted.

She graciously opened her home to foreign exchange students, missionaries, and others as extended living quarters.    Love and joy radiated from her and she will be greatly missed.

Services for Mrs. Joanna Kulp will take place on Tuesday, December 28, 2021, 11:00 a.m. at the Lifeline Church in Colville, WA with burial to follow at Highland Cemetery, Colville, WA.
