Jesse Timothy Ballard Sr

Jesse Timothy Ballard Sr passed away in Colville, Washington on January 23, 2024. Jesse was born September 4, 1942 in Ypsilanti, Michigan and adopted by Milo and E. Margaret (Brown) Ballard.

Jesse grew up in Ypsilanti, Michigan where he went to school and would graduate from Ypsilanti High School. After high school, he joined the Army and served his country for 4 years. He was honorably discharged. Jesse met the love of his life Diana J. Weaks and married her in 1964. Their love grew strong as well did their family with four kids. Jesse was a hard worker and was a long-haul truck driver for most his life. He started in Arizona and eventually would drive in Wyoming, Idaho and Oregon. After Truck driving for many years, Jesse and Diana would become partners as a managing team of Grandview Apartments in Oregon and Broadwater apartments in Montana. They would eventually retire in Washington. Jesse loved hunting, fishing, camping and mechanics. He was lovingly nicknamed "grumpy" but was a good dad, loving husband and was always busy doing something.

Jesse was preceded by his parents.

He was survived by his wife of 59 years, Diana Ballard, four children, Jesse Ballard, Daniel Ballard, Alicia Owens, and Jason Ballard  one step brother, Bob Mcrary, 9 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
