In Loving Memory
Jeffrey Jerome Dotts
Jeffrey Jerome Dotts, a lifetime area resident, passed away unexpectedly on June 14, 2022 in Colville, WA. He was born on January 1, 1982 in Colville, WA to Richard Carpenter and Jodi Wissink.
Jeff spent his youth in the Colville and Chewelah area attending high school in Chewelah, WA before enlisting into the U.S. Army. He went through Boot Camp in Oklahoma before spending time stationed in Texas and South Carolina. Jeff worked as a mechanic during his time in the Army, something that he thoroughly enjoyed. Jeff injured his back during his time in the military which continued to cause troubles throughout his lifetime. He was able to work as a tow truck driver for a time and also worked for Colmac.
Jeff absolutely loved being in the outdoors, and from a young age, he would go out on hunting and fishing trips all around the area. Jeff enjoyed taking his boys, Christopher, Chance and Connor on these trips and teaching them the art of the hunt and the catch. Family was an important factor in Jeff's life. Many weekends were spent camping and boating all around Northeast Washington.
Jeff met his soulmate, Susie, and they joined their two families as one with her four children, Katy, Michelle, Lily and Travis. Jeff was a "Gentle Giant" that had a heart of gold. He would offer the shirt off of his back and help out anyone in need when he could. Jeff enjoyed watching football, WWE wrestling, and working on cars. He was always a jokester, but never in an ill pointed manner. Jeff's smile would light up a room and he will be sorely missed by those that knew him best.
Jeff is survived by his fiancé, Susan Morrow; sons, Christopher, Chance, Connor; Mother, Jodi Wissink (Dan); sisters, Jackie, Brandy; step-sister, Nicole; step-brother, Cory; step-children, Katy, Michelle, Lily, Travis; grandmother, Delpha Burke; uncles, Frank (Joanne), Rob (Cheri), Casey, RJ (Brigett), John (Sheila), and Jamey; aunt, Jen; and numerous nieces, nephews, and extended family.
