Jeanette Feris

Wednesday afternoon January 3rd, Jeannette Feris passed away peacefully with family by her side. Jeannette was born in Everett WA, August 7th, 1937. She grew up in Lowell WA. In 1969 moved to Chewelah area where she spent most of the rest of her life.

Jeannette loved traveling and seeing all the beauty of the world. She had many wonderful life adventures with friends and family and enjoyed sharing times including seeing penguins in Antarctica, riding a camel in Egypt, visiting China, kissing the Blarney Stone in Ireland, and seeing Stonehenge In England and eating haggis in Norway with her daughter Cheryl.

She was a classy, elegant lady who loved to cook especially on holidays with family, loved music of all kinds from opera to rock to jazz. Love of flowers was obvious, she made beautiful arrangements!

Jeannette was a huge sports fan who enjoyed watching the mariners and zags!

Her faith was strong and never faltered in even difficult times. Her love of family meant everything and looked forward to visits, pictures and updates of activities and school events of all kinds.

Jeannette was preceded in death by her parents Ken and Opal Ritchie, husband Bill, daughter Norma, and grandson Mark. Her family was extensive including brother Richard and wife Marion, daughter Cheryl and husband Dave, son Larry and wife Melanie, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren. She will always be remembered as Mom who loved us unconditionally, who taught us compassion, love, and faith and how to be strong when life is hard.
