James Reid Spencer

Jim was born on September 7,1955 to Jesse and Ardele Spencer. Jim died on December 30th 2023 in Spokane, Washington with his wife Stacy of 33 years by his side. Jim was born in San Pedro, California to Jesse and Ardelle Spencer. he spent his early years in the Los Angeles area and then his family relocated to Granite Falls Washington. He spent most of his adult life in Granite Falls and Marysville.
Jim was a Jack of All Trades. He spent many years in the logging industry. In 1989 he went to trade school for HVAC,  then spent 22 years working in Seattle doing refrigeration work on shipping containers. He was a great mechanic and could fix anything. He found enjoyment fixing up old tractors to use on his property. He also had a portable sawmill and milled his own lumber. In 2012 Jim and Stacy moved to Colville, Washington, where he spent his final years.
In his spare time he enjoyed steelhead fishing, camping, riding his Harley and spending time with his grandchildren. The last three years of his life he was a snowbird, traveling in the winter to Arizona, New Mexico and Texas. He especially loved the desert of Arizona.
Jim is preceded in death by his parents, Jesse and Ardelle and his beloved sons, Andrew and Garrett.
He is survived by his wife Stacy, son Gabriel, daughter Dakota, brother Clay, sisters Judy and Joyce and his grandchildren James, Paris, Shelby and Coba.
