James "Lyle" Creger, age 86, a resident of Rice, WA passed away on February 19, 2025 at his home.  Lyle was born on February 26, 1938 in Hamilton, MT the son of Charles Leonard and Cannie Alice (Catron) Creger.

Lyle moved to the Kettle Falls, WA area as boy with his family.  He graduated from Kettle Falls High School in 1958.  Lyle married Mary Carder in Coeur d'Alene, ID and they began raising a growing family.  Together they welcomed three children, David, Kimberly and James.  They resided in Shoreline, WA.  Lyle worked as a Journeyman electrician for ADT and Seatronics.  His career lasted several decades.  In 2019 he moved to Rice, WA where he has resided since.

Lyle was preceded in death by one son, David Creger and all of his siblings; Elmer Creger, Shirlie Stacey, Iris Loiselle, Irene Dastrup and Collin Creger.

He is survived by two children, Kimberly Creger of Bellevue, WA, and James Creger (Marlene) of Rice, WA; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren

James Lyle Creger will be laid to rest at the Meyers Falls Cemetery with his family.  Memorial contributions may be given to the charity of your choice.  Danekas Funeral Chapel and Crematory is entrusted with the arrangements.
