The Legacy of a Journey

To my family, I am writing you today to let you know how important you are and hove been part of my life, family and friends that you have been part of my life and how much I love you. As I have grown older and a newer generation have joined our family. The grandchildren and great grandchildren. I continue to cherish what we have even more than ever. You all have been the delight of my life.

A tribute to mom, writing a legacy for the most important woman in our life. The legacy of a beautiful woman of God, Mrs. Gwendola Mae Attison, at the age of 85, she was born to a wonderful mother Mrs.  Dorothy Davis and a father. They had 6 beautiful children, Gwendola Mae Attison, Donna, Lori, Cheryl, Myron and Marcus.  Gwendola was the second of six children. She was born October 30, 1938 in Denver, Colorado at 7:09 a.m., the early hours.

She went to grade school and high school in California as a young lady, then moved to Spokane, Washington to which later on would meet my father and would marry and have four children. She gave birth to Taffy, John, Gwen and Cindi. They lived in Spokane, Washington and would move to Seattle, Washington to raise their children.

She put her self through Janitorial School and worked on the Boilers Heating up the schools in Seattle at different schools and cleaned different schools. She worked different jobs through out her life time. She planted Daffodil flowers bulbs for 10 hours a day, book bindery company, worked at a clothing store and she made breakfast at a restaurant in the kitchen. She was devoted to her children and family. She was a very kind, sweet and loving person. Her heart was always in a place of love and showed that love in her life. She prayed every day for her family and friends. She read and studied her bible daily. Her favorite verses were St Matthew 9-13, the Lord's Prayer and St John 3;16. She would want you to remember her through love and as God loves and for others through love.
