Gregory Allen Olson

Gregory 'Greg" Allen Olson beloved husband, father and grandfather born June 27, 1958 to Kenneth and Doris (Kinney) Olson passed away October 6, 2022 in Spokane, Washington.

Greg went to middle school in Oregon but then moved to Washington and graduated from Jenkins High School in Chewelah, Washington in 1976. After high school he would meet the love of his life Kathy (Brashler) Olson. They would go on and spend 44 years of their life together. He worked a couple jobs such as Roy's Chevron, Rock Quarry, Blue Creek Mercantile and worked with his son in the construction field. Greg would eventually go full circle and settle in at Blue Creek Mercantile and retire there as Co-Owners. He was a quiet man who loved his family, loved to hunt and fish, he enjoyed life and he loved the outdoors. His favorite thing to do was pack the horses and go bear hunting with his friends and family up on Sherlocks Peak. In Greg's down time he would paint and restore cars for extra cash and with that extra cash he and his family would go on vacations.

Greg is preceded in death by his mother Doris Olson. He is survived by his father: Kenneth Olson, his wife of 44 years Kathy Olson of Chewelah, WA, one son: Mike Olson of Chewelah, WA, one daughter: Sarah Olson of Spokane, WA, four brothers and two grandkids.

Greg's family will have a gathering at the family's home 2:00p.m. Saturday, October 29, 2022.  at 2630 H Golf Course Road Chewelah, Washington 99109 to share stories and memories of Greg.
