Obituary

Geraldine Fredrickson of Colville, WA, passed away on July 21, 2024, at the age of 97. She leaves behind a legacy filled with love, laughter, and service, reflecting her roles as a devoted wife, loving mother, and active community volunteer. Geraldine was known for her heart of gold and her ever-present sense of humor.

Born and raised in the nearby towns of Rice and Kettle Falls, WA, Geraldine attended primary school in Rice before graduating from Kettle Falls High School. Her early education laid the foundation for a life characterized by an eagerness to learn and connect with others.

Geraldine's personal life was rich with relationships. Geraldine is survived by her brother Jon Entwistle; her children, John Palm and Nancy Naff, all residing in the Colville area; twelve grandchildren; twenty-two great-grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Pearl and Goldie Entwistle, her first husband, Robert Palm, her second husband, Ernest Fredrickson, siblings Vickie Gourlie, Janice Harlick, and Bill Entwistle, as well as her son Lee Fredrickson, daughter Teresa Lutgen, and grandson Ryan Inman.

Geraldine's community spirit was evident in her volunteer activities, especially her dedication to the Stevens County Museum. Her hobbies included gardening, playing pinochle, loom knitting, and volunteering, each reflecting her vibrant spirit and generous nature.

A service to honor Geraldine's life will be held at Danekas Funeral Chapel on the corner of 1st and Wynne on August 24th at 10:00 am. Her life's impact and joyful demeanor will be a cherished memory by all who knew her.
