Duane Allen Dawson

Duane Allen Dawson entered into life on March 25,1970 in Deer Park, Washington. Duane grew up at Waitts Lake and the Resort was his favorite hangout. The truck shop was just across the street so it was an ideal location for swimming, four wheeling, snowmobiling, off roading, and riding motor bikes. Duane's father, (Dennis) said that "as soon as he was old enough to climb up and control a motor bike, he did just that."

Duane met the love of his life, Shannon Mary Hill, in 1996 at Andrews Equipment. The two were married in 1998. They loved spending time with their family and at their lake cabin together making memories.

Duane had an extraordinary talent for operating machinery. He was a perfectionist and was an excellent truck driver. He dedicated his life to his family and to the family business.

Duane entered into rest on December 26th, 2024 in Spokane, Washington. He was preceded in death by his mother, Dawn Dawson and his grandparents. He is survived by his children, James Randall, Kiri Randall, Kimber Dawson, Zachary Dawson (Brittney), Jazmin Dawson, and Camron Dawson, his five beautiful grandchildren, his brother, Doug Dawson (Kay), Nieces; Kayla Dawson, Kara Dawson, his father, Dennis Dawson, and many extended family.

Duane was a true family man to anyone who knew him. He was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother. All who knew him will miss his love, generosity, friendship, loyalty, and laughter.

In Lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made in Duane's name to the Valley Bible Church.

Funeral Services will be held on January 4, 2025, at the Valley Bible Church (3061Pine Street, Valley Washington 99181) at 10:00 am and the graveside service will be immediately following at the Valley Cemetery (3051 Fourth Avenue, Valley Washington 99181)
