Diane M. Balcom went to be with her Lord and savior on September 27th, 2022.
Diane (Davis) Balcom was born to Leroy Davis and Mary (Heger) Linger on February 5th 1945 in Yakima Washington.
Diane is survived by her husband Harold and beloved dog Sammy in the home. 3 children. Ted and Val of Marcus, Trudy and Wayne Curry of Kettle Falls, Curt and Karene Balcom of Northport. 9 grandchildren Roy, Tawnia, Andrew, Keith, Jeremy, Adam, Nick, Shantel and Shane. 16 great grandchildren Brode, Gennasey, Bryce, Amelia, Dyson, Carson, Todd, Gage, Tristan, Beau, Burkley, Jocelyn, Ryler, Tryg, Colby and Hunter. 5 sisters Janet and Don Pemberton of Spokane, Nancy and Larry Martin of Harrah, Patsy and Rodney Champoux of Yakima, Kathy and Jerry Russell of Yakima and Colleen and Jeff Wilmoth of Selah. Her very special friends Kathy and Ken McGreevey of Colfax and Rich Lariviere. Plus a very large extended family!
Diane is proceed in death by her parents Leroy and Mickey Davis and Ted and Mary (Heger) Linger and 2 sisters. Janice Davis and Debra (Davis) Champoux, and special friend Nancy Lariviere.
Diane grew up in Yakima and attended Saint Paul catholic grade school and Graduated from Central Catholic High school in 1963.
Diane met Harold in the summer of 1962 and were married in March of 1963. They had 3 children and then moved to Kettle Falls in 1968 where they raised their family. Diane worked at the Bulldog Inn in Kettle and then in 1995 she went to work at Walmart. She worked at Walmart for 15 years and retired in 2010 and started enjoying the quiet life in the country. Diane loved her family fiercely and was married to Harold for 59 1/2 years. She enjoyed gardening in her flower beds and had a strong passion for animals! Diane had such compassion and a caring way, that everyone around her felt it. Diane was dearly loved by all and will be missed by many!
A funeral mass for Diane Balcom will be held on Friday, October 7th, beginning at 11am at the Immacculate Conception Catholic Church in Colville, WA. Danekas Funeral Chapel is entrusted in care.
