Denise Acre Reed Hunter
Denise Acre Reed Hunter from Chewelah, Washington died Monday, September 12, 2022 in Spokane, Washington. She was born March 17, 1941 in Melbourne, Florida to Robert and Betty (Jane Acre) Hodges.
At a very young age Denise and her family left Florida and moved to Portland, Oregon. They spent a few years there and then decided to move to beautiful Alaska. She spent a lot of her young adult life there trading golden nuggets for pelts and money and later found a love in being a trapper. Denise would after decades of living in Alaska move to Hawaii and then to Seaside, Oregon. While living in Seaside, Denise met the love of her life Calvin Hunter. There love came natural and they would soon marry. In 1995 they became Mr. and Mrs. Calvin and Denise Hunter. They moved to Silver Lake, Washington and built a new home together and then moved and settled down in Chewelah, Washington. They traveled everywhere together. Denise and Calvin loved riding their motorcycle all around the country including Sturgis a few times. Denise was rock solid in her faith, spiritual, inspiring, loving, helpful and while she Is deeply missed, she will Never be forgotten.
Denise is survived by her devoted husband Calvin Hunter of Chewelah, WA., her loving sisters; Robin and Dian and brother Miles. Her loving daughters; Angella and Wendy., adoring Granddaughters and Grandsons; Grace, Isabella, Bronson and Spenser and many devoted nephews, nieces and Grandnephews and Nieces.
