Delvin Fay Hill, Jr, (J.R.) age 57, a resident of Spokane, WA passed away on September 21, 2021 at his home.  J.R. was born on January 21, 1964 in Colville, WA the son of Delvin and Sharon (Parker) Hill.

He was a twelve year senior of Colville High School and graduated in 1982.  Upon graduation, J.R. worked at Brauner Lumber until 1987.  He then attended Spokane Community College where he studied Forestry and received his Associates degree in Water Resources in 1990.  While attended school, J.R. was very active in the logging sports program, helping to serve as a manager and team captain, winning many events and awards. During summer breaks, he spent several summers working with the Forest Service and Fish and Wildlife Service.  Delvin then stayed in Spokane and worked in the flooring and tile business.  He returned to Colville and spent 13 year at Colmac Industries.  After leaving Colmac, he moved to Southern California where he worked with rehab centers and as a counseling assistant at various facilities.  Upon returning to Spokane, J.R. worked as a machinist at JETSEAL Inc., a manufacturing company making metallic seals for the aerospace industry in the Spokane Valley.

Growing up in Colville, Delvin, enjoyed the outdoors.  Whenever possible, he would be riding his motorcycle, snowmobiling and spending time at the lake cabin, water skiing, swimming and exploring the countryside with his many friends.   J.R. will be missed by many friends and extended family.  He was a joy to his family with a kind heart and wonderful sense of humor.

He was baptized and joined the Lutheran Church while in Spokane.

Delvin "J.R." was preceded in death by his father, Delvin.

He is survived by his mother, Sharon Hill Enright of Spokane, WA; sister, Shardell Shrum (Brad) of Spokane, WA and a host of friends.
