Delores Rose Bradbury

Delores Rose Bradbury, age 94, passed away suddenly on November 4, 2024 at her home near Valley, Washington.  She was born October 20, 1930 to Arthur and Mable (Root) Curry in Colville, Washington.

Delores and Stanley M. Bradbury married on November 1, 1947.  Together they raised four children at Waitts Lake:  daughters Annalee, Nicolee, and Jaimie, and son Kevin.  Delores worked at Silver Beach Resort at Waitts Lake many summers, and also at Valley School District alongside Stan assisting with building and grounds maintenance.  She enjoyed a lifetime of picking mushrooms and huckleberries, hunting, fishing, trapshooting, bowling, and going out for coffee or breakfast with friends.  She as an avid reader, a devoted Seattle Mariners and Gonzaga Bulldogs sports fan, and a lover of wildflowers.

Survivors include daughters Annalee Bradbury, Valley, Washington, and Jaimie L. Bradbury, Sandy Oregon; three grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her husband of 56 years, Stanley M. Bradbury; daughter Nicolee Bradbury; son Kevin M Bradbury; and five sisters, Esther Hodgson, Thelma Ricketts, Dorothy Moore, Kathleen (Kay) Ryerson, and Lorene Godwin.
