David Eugene Hughes passed away at 83 years old in his home in Colville, WA on June 5, 2024. He is survived by his wife, Cary Hughes, and others including Tanner Hoffman, Catherine Hoffman, Linda Goff, Bob Hughes, and Greg Olgan.

David was born on April 3, 1941 in De Queen, Arkansas. He was a WSP trooper in the Seatac/Seattle area after retiring from Boeing as a crane operator. He loved his friends, reading, gourmet cooking and baking, and playing pool on his table.
