In Loving Memory

David Donald "Don" Brogan

David Donald "Don" Brogan, age 91, passed away on the evening of February 10, 2022, in Colville, Washington. Don was born in Oklahoma City, OK to Hollis and Velma (Brown) Brogan. After graduating from high school in Oklahoma City, Don would enlist in the navy, honorably serving his country during the Korean War. Don would meet the love of his life, Charlotte "Char" Thompson, at a social event while stationed in California. After winning over her heart with his patience, perseverance, and adoration, Don would ask for her hand in marriage and the two would be wed in 1956.

After retiring from the navy, Don and Char would move to St. Louis, where Don would enroll in school for dentistry, later obtaining his doctorate in dentistry. After a short time in Phoenix AZ and Anaheim, CA the family settled in Corona, CA, where they put down their roots and raised their three children, Scott, Cheryl, and Mark. When he wasn't working, Don loved to golf, play bridge and travel.

Don and Char loved cruises. The pair made countless friends across the world with Don's sense of humor and Char's confidence. As their health began to decline, Don and Char made the decision to reside full-time in Colville, next door to their son, Scott, and his family in the late 2000's.

Don's ashes will be spread around his property, where he will eternally watch over the family and wildlife along with Char. Per his wishes, no services will be held. Don was preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Charlotte "Char" Brogan and his son, Mark. He is survived by his son, Scott (Kathy) Brogan; daughter, Cheryl Johnson; daughter-in-law, Cindy; and seven grandchildren.
