Darlene Dixie Wadkins

Darlene Dixie Wadkins of Loon Lake Washington passed away on February 20, 2023.  Darlene was born on March 3 ^rd , 1938, in Bayview Washington to the late Jim and Nellie Vaughan.

She was known as an avid deal finder and could never pass up a roadside garage sale. Darlene had an Attic Shop "Grandmas Attic" for the last 40 years and loved meeting new people in her shop.

She also had a strong faith in her Lord Jesus Christ. She dedicated her life to the "Truth" She loved having meetings in her home and lived her life devoted to her faith and her companions.

Darlene was an outgoing person who enjoyed having large parties and get together with her friends and family. She was a great person to have around when cooking needed to be done. She also enjoyed spending evenings talking on the phone for hours to her friends and family.

Darlene was preceded in death by her husband William Wadkins whom she was happily married to for 50 years. Together they had a daughter Connie Wadkins.  Both Bill and Connie proceeded her in death 15 and 12 years ago respectively. Darlene is survived by her brother Fred Vaughan, her son Ted Wadkins, Grandson and Daughter in-law Dane and Krista Wadkins. She is also survived by her Great Grandkids Madison and Easton Wadkins who she adored. She will be greatly missed.
