Dana Marie Marchand, age 46, passed away on May 3, 2022 at her home in Inchelium, WA. Dana was born on Aug. 12, 1975 in Colville, WA the daughter of Daryle "Punky" Marchand and Myra Aubertin.

She began school in Inchelium where her family resided until 1986 when they moved to Vancouver, WA. There she continued her education. Dana returned to Inchelium and completed her junior and senior year of high school and graduated in 1993. In January of 1994, her family began with the birth of her daughter, Alena. Their family continued to grow with the birth of her son, Tristan in 1997. Dana worked while raising her family. She began with the Head Start Program, then as a para-pro educator in the Inchelium Schools. She also worked for a time and the Serenity House and then tried her hand at bartending. Dana's last work opportunities included Rainbow Beach Resort and Log Cabin Resort both at Twin Lakes.

Dana's favorite time was as "Nanny" grandmother and spoiler of her grandchildren. She found relaxation and respite afloat with fishing pole in hand and the waters gentle rock of the boat. When at home, a good game of cards, cribbage, and marathon Yahtzee were often shared with family and friends. When out on the town, she enjoyed trying her hand with lady luck at the casinos of N.E. Washington. With grins and giggles, her family will reflect upon her strong-willed nature and her beautiful smile. Her presence and companionship were the greatest treasure and held closely by those who knew and loved her.

Dana was preceded in death by her paternal grandfather Bill Marchand, paternal grandmother Yvonne Charette, maternal grandfather Robert Ferguson, maternal grandmother Carmen Zaugg, sister Sharon Marchand and other mother Bev Marchand.

She is survived by her children: Alena Seymour of Inchelium, WA; son, Tristan Seymour of Inchelium, WA; granddaughter, AshLynn Esquivel of Inchelium, WA; parents, Myra Aubertin of Cheney, WA, Daryle "Punky" Marchand of Inchelium, WA; siblings, Shanna Marchand of Elk, WA, Sheldon Pakootas of Keller, WA; nieces and nephews, Ayanna and Marley Pakootas, Cameron Marchand of Cheney, WA.

The memorial service for Ms. Dana M. Marchand will begin at 12:00pm on Wednesday, May 11, 2022 at her father's home at Twin Lakes, WA.
